For my project, I made a fun set of tags, featuring the adorable new set, Turkey Day

To begin, I stamped the images from Turkey Day, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Next, using the Scalloped Square Tag Dies, I cut 3 tags from dark brown cardstock. I then cut 3 squares from white cardstock and layered them with a smaller square, cut from Bristol smooth cardstock, ink blended with Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide inks. Before adhering them together, I splattered the inked square with water, then some Crackling Campfire ink, thinned with water.

Next, I layered the squares and attached them to the brown tags. I then arranged the Turkey Day images onto each tag and attached them, using foam tape on some for dimension. The banners were die cut from white cardstock using the new Brilliant Banner 1 Dies. I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink, then stamped the sentiments from Turkey Day in black ink. I attached the banners to the bottom of the tags with foam tape, then added some brown bakers twine to complete my project!

Pretty Pink Posh August Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to Day 3 of the Pretty Pink Posh August release blog hop! It's all about Halloween, and it's fa-BOO-lous! Be sure to read to the bottom of my post for info on the giveaway and links to today's blog hop participants!

For my project, I created a card and coordinating tags using the adorable new set, Halloween Cupcakes and some other fun products from the new release.

To begin, I stamped the images from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images with the Halloween Cupcake Coordinating Dies. Next, I cut a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock to an A6 size and ink blended the background with Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the background with white and black acrylic paint to distress it a bit, then masked off the bottom of the panel and inked it with Black Soot Distress ink. I stenciled a black spider web border using the Layered Spider Webs Stencils. 

I white heat embossed the sentiment, from the Boo to You Stamp set, then stacked the cupcakes and attached using foam tape for dimension. I attached my card front to a white mat, about 1/2" larger, then onto a black cardstock card base. Lastly, I added some white clay stars from the Spooky Fun Clay Confetti to add a fun touch and to complete my card.

The coordinating tags were created using the Scallop Square Tags, Halloween Cupcakes Stamp Set, Halloween Cupcakes Coordinating Dies, Boo to You Stamp set, Layered Spider Webs Stencils, and Spooky Fun Clay Confetti. To finish the tags, I punched a hole at the top of the tags and attached  some black and white bakers twine.
