Chloe Alphabet with Sunny Studio

Hi friends! Today I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing a fun and bright Tropical card featuring the whimsical new Chloe Alphabet dies. I absolutely love creating fun and playful sentiments on my cards, and this new alphabet die fits the bill and will be one I reach for regularly!

To begin, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 3.75 X 5.5". I used the Stitched Circle Large Dies to cut a circle which will create a nice little focal point for my little tropical scene! Next, I ink bended Bristol smooth cardstock with Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks. I then cut a sandy border and wavy border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies, and attached them to make background, making sure it fit within the circle frame. I then cut a piece of yellow paper A2 sized from the Sleek Stripes Paper  and mounted it onto a white card base. I attached the ink blended background, then the white circle frames piece was attached with foam tape for dimension.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

I arranged the colored images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I die cut the word "ALOHA" 3 times from bright pink cardstock using the  Chloe Alphabet dies and stacked together to create a bold sentiment to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you love the new Chloe Alphabet die as much as I do and are inspired to create custom sentiments on your cards...it adds such a special touch!

Hugs,
Tammy

Lawn Fawn Blog Feature for Simon Says Stamp

Hi guys! I'm so excited to be over on the Simon Says Stamp blog with a fun birthday card, featuring Lawn Fawn. My slimline card is a nice mix of new and older products, showing how seamlessly all the sets combine to create a unique scene!

To begin, I cut Bristol smooth cardstock using the Portrait Scalloped Slimline Die. I taped off the scalloped edges with washi tape, then ink blended the background with Salty Ocean, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass  Distress Oxide inks. Next, I placed the Starry Sky Stencil over the top portion of the background and applied a layer of Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel to add some shimmer and texture to my background.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

Easter Before 'N Afters (basket for hot air balloon)

After I die cut the baskets from the Easter Before 'N Afters, I simply cut the handle off to create a fun little basket for the critters! Next, I arranged the colored images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension.

I then stamped the Happy Birthday from Really High Five in Jet Black Premium Ink along the bottom of my card. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Black Licorice cardstock using Clear Embossing Ink and embossed it with White Embossing Powder to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you next time!

Hugs,
Tammy

Mother's Day Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends! It's Mother's Day Theme Week over on the Pretty Pink Posh blog!! This week we are celebrating Mom's, or maybe someone who has been like a mom to you. Today, I'm sharing a card and tag set using the Floral Corners stamp set , along with some other new items.

To begin, I cut an A2 piece Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks over the Pretty Petals Stencil. I splattered some Worn Lipstick ink, thinned with water, and black acrylic paint onto my stenciled background to create some interest. Next, I die cut white cardstock three times using the Scallop Frames Dies, stacked together and attached to my stenciled background.

Next, I stamped the images from Floral Corners, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Floral Corners Coordinating Dies. The butterfly comes from the Mom stamp set and was cut out using the coordinating dies. After arranging the colored images onto my card, I created a bold sentiment using the Mom/Mother Script Dies. I die cut Bristol smooth cardstock three times, stacked together, and ink blended the Mom sentiment with Shabby Shutters and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks to create an ombre effect. Next, using the Simple Strips Dies, I die cut black sentiment strips. I white heat embossed them with sentiments from the Mom stamp set and attached to my card. Lastly, I added some clear sequins from the Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix for a little sparkle and the perfect finishing touch!

The tag was created by cutting a piece of Bristol cardstock using the Scallop Square Tag Dies. I taped off the edges with washi tape and ink blended Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks over the Pretty Petals Stencil. Next, I stamped the floral image from Floral Corners, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Floral Corners Coordinating Dies. The sentiment was created using the Mom/Mother Script Dies, and ink blended with green inks to create an ombre effect. Lastly, I cut black cardstock using the Simple Strips Dies, white heat embossed the sentiment from the Mom stamp set and attached to my tag. I finished off the tag by adding a few clear sequins from the Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you were inspired to create something beautiful for the amazing women in your life! Have a wonderful day!

Tammy

Hi friends! Today, I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing a "magical" slimline card using the sweet  Garden Fairy stamp set.

I began by stamping and then coloring the Garden Fairy images with Copic markers. I then die cut the colored images with the Garden Fairy Dies

Next, I cut a white frame using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. I then cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the background with Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I cut a grassy border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies, ink blended it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks and attached to my background. I white heat embossed the little sparkle images onto the background and stamped the sentiment along the grassy border using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Lastly, I arranged the images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension, then  mounted my scalloped card front onto a white cardstock card base to finish up my card.
