Hogs & Kisses with Hello Bluebird

Hi Crafty friends! I'm so excited to share this sweet and punny card with you, using  Hello Bluebird products. I love a good pun, so this was so much fun to make!

I began by cutting Bristol smooth cardstock to 3 1/4 X 8 1/4", and inking with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxidess. I splattered some clean water and watered down Broken China ink with a paint brush onto my background. I then cut a grassy border, and inked it with Twisted Citron and Crushed Olive. I used a tape runner to attach my background to a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2" card base.

I used the following stamp sets to create this 3 1/2 X 8 1/2" slimline card:
Merry Mice (mailbox)/ Dies

All images were stamped with black Memento ink on Bristol smooth cardstock and colored with Copic markers in the following colors:
Pigs: R000, R00, R30, R20
Birds: Y00, Y02, Y13, Y35
Mailbox: RV10, RV21, RV13, N0, N2, N4
Red Hearts: RV25, RV29
Pink Hearts: RV10, RV13

All colored images were arranged on the card and adhered with 3D foam squares for dimension. I cut my HOGS sentiment from red cardstock(two times to layer) and white cardstock using the Oliver Alpha Die. I layered the red letters onto the white letters, just slightly offset.

Finally, I centered my HOGS sentiment at the top of the card and attached. I stamped the "sending" and "& kisses" sentiments from Spring Script in black ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by...have a wonderful day!!

XO,
Tammy

Rainbow Unicorn Tales with Hello Bluebird

Hi Crafty friends!

Today, I have a fun, bright, rainbow filled card featuring Hello Bluebird products!

To begin, I cut a stitched rectangle from Bristol smooth cardstock. Next, I cut two cloud borders from the Grassy Knoll Die, these will serve as my stencil for the clouds.

Next, I collected all the Distress Oxide ink pads I wanted to use to create my rainbow clouds. I used Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, and Shaded Lilac to ink blend my clouds, starting from the top, and alternating the angle of the clouds. Once I was done inking the clouds, I sprinkled some clean water droplets onto my background, and set aside to dry.

I stamped the sweet sitting unicorn from Unicorn Tales onto Bristol smooth cardstock, and colored with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen and cut out using the coordinating Unicorn Tales Die.

Next, I cut a vellum cloud border using the Grassy Knoll Die. Then, from gold cardstock, I cut the word "Magical" three times using the Magical Sparkle Words Die.  I lined it up on the vellum to see the placement, and embossed the "Have a" and "birthday" with white embossing powder. I then, attached the magical sentiment onto the vellum using a fine tip glue pen. I lined up the vellum border to the bottom edge of my card base and wrapped it around both edges and attached to the back. Next, I attached the background to an A2 card base.

I cut two clouds from the Rainbow Sky Die and lightly inked the bottom with Tumbled Glass DO.
I attached the clouds and the unicorn to my background using foam tape for dimension.

Finally, I cut stars from gold cardstock using the Gallery Frame #1 Die and added to my card using a fine tip glue pen.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a Magical Day!

XO,
Tammy

Unicorn Tales with Hello Bluebird

Happy 2020, friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season! Today, I have a sweet slimline card, featuring two of my favorites...unicorns and rainbows from Hello Bluebird!

To begin, I took a 3 1/4 X 8 1/4" piece of Bristol cardstock and inked it with Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Peacock Feathers, and Tumbles Glass Distress Oxides, blending really well.  Next, I splattered it with clean water and blotted off extra with a paper towel. I then loosened up some Shaded Lilac with water, and using a paintbrush, flicked it all over my panel to create some contrast. I set this aside to dry.

I stamped the unicorn images from the Unicorn Tales Stamp set with black Momento ink onto bristol smooth cardstock, and colored with Copic markers. Once colored, I cut them out with the coordinating Unicorn Tales Die.

Next, I die cut the rainbow and clouds using the Rainbow Sky Die. I die cut the clouds twice, using both white cardstock and vellum, inking the bottom of the white clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress oxide ink. The rainbow was cut from several different colored cardstocks, assembled, and set aside.

I attached my inked panel to an 8 1/2 X 3 1/2" card base made from thick white cardstock. I arranged my rainbow on the card and carefully snipped off the excess. The clouds were then placed on the card, attaching the vellum clouds first, then layering the white clouds on top with dimensional foam tape. Next, the unicorns were attached with foam tape for dimension, and then the stars were glued down.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Unicorn Tales in black ink to finish off my card. And there you have it, a sweet card...perfect for the unicorn and rainbow loving girl in your life!!

Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!!

XO,
Tammy
