Mini Slimline Country Scenes with Sunny Studio

Hi friends! I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing these fun Mini Slimline cards, featuring the Country Scenes stamp set. Of course I had to add the adorable set, Balloon Rides to compliment these sweet little country scene cards!

To begin, I cut red and blue cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. To create the mini slimline size, I repositioned the slimline scallop die onto the die cut rectangles and ran it through my die cutting machine to give me a finished size of approximately 3 1/2 X 6 1/2". Next, using Bristol smooth cardstock, I cut the smaller rectangle the same way, repositioning the die and cutting again using the Slimline Die. I inked the backgrounds with salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks and matted onto white cardstock before attaching to the scalloped rectangles.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

I die cut the Country Scenes with the smaller rectangle from the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies to fit perfectly onto my background. Next, I attached the stamped images to my cards, using foam tape on some for dimension.

Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiments onto a strip of black cardstock and attached my card fronts to a white 3 1/2 X 6 1/2" card base to complete my cards.

I hope you enjoyed my mini cards today and you are inspired to make a mini slimline card, they are so much fun!! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Big Hugs,

Tammy

Mini Valentine' s with Heffy Doodle

Hi friends! I'm soo excited to be a Guest Designer for Heffy Doodle for the month of Febuary. Their fun and whimsical designs paired with awesome puns captured my heart! I created a fun set of mini Valentine's cards, using a variety of sets, because I couldn't decide on just one, LOL.

To begin, I cut (4) 4 inch squares from heavy white cardstock and cut a heart opening using the Stitched Hearts Dies. Next, I cut another 4 squares from Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks (Purple: Wilted Violet & Milled Lavender, Aqua: Peacock Feathers & Tumbled Glass, Sea Green: Peacock Feathers & Cracked Pistachio, Pink: Picked Raspberry & Spun Sugar).

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:

Next, I cut some sandy borders using the Stitched Slopey Joes Border Dies, ink blended them with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink, and attached them to 3 of my inked backgrounds. I then adhered the heart frames to the backgrounds using foam tape for dimension.

I die cut red and white cardstock using the Valentine and Be Mine  dies to create the fun scripty sentiment on each mini card, and white heat embossed the other punny sentiments onto black cardstock strips.

Lastly, I added some little die cut red hearts to each card and attached my card fronts to 4 X 4 white card bases to complete my project!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Tammy

Favor-It with Lawn Fawn - Pizza Box Favor

Hi friends! I'm so excited to be starting a new monthly blog feature, using Lawn Fawn products, called Favor-It.  I absolutely love creating favors and little gifts, so I thought this would be a fun way to showcase my favorite stamps in a creative way, other than a card. This month, I have a fun Pizza box favor, featuring Pizza My Heart. Inside there's a pizza gummy, sitting on top of the infamous Lawn Fawn green shreddies, lol! This is such a fun little favor for multiple occasions - how fun would these be to hand out at a kids pizza themed party?

To begin, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the largest die from the Small Stitched Square Stackables. I then stamped it with the Gingham Backdrops using Lobster Ink to create a cute gingham tablecloth background. Next, I cut a smaller square from Bristol cardstock, again using the Small Stitched Square Stackables, and lightly ink blended it with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink. I attached the gingham background to the Pizza Box

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:

Next, I arranged my stamped images onto the pizza box, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of white cardstock and cut to fit the width of the box.

Lastly, I filled the pizza box with some Lawn Fawn green shreddies that I keep (hoard, lol) and then placed a Gummi Pizza on top to finish up my favor box!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this new blog feature! I would love to hear any suggestions of favors you would like to see in the future...leave me a comment!

Have a great day!

Big Hugs,

Tammy

Meow & Furever with Sunny Studio

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a card, featuring these adorable kitties from the new set, Meow & Furever. This set is Purr-fect for so many occasions, and I'm in love with the punny greetings!

To begin, I cut Bristol cardstock to an A2 size and ink blended it with Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks. I splattered some Dusty Concord, thinned with water, onto the background to create a bit of interest. Next, I cut a piece of white cardstock smaller than my background, then cut a circle grid using the Window Quad Circles Dies.  I then attached it to the inked background using foam tape for dimension.

Next, I stamped the images from Meow & Furever, colored with Copic markers, and cut them out with the Meow & Furever Dies.  I arranged the images onto my card, using foam tape on the kitties.

Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto a black cardstock sentiment strip and attached my card front to a white card base to finish it up!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
