Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop

Hi friends! I'm so excited to be joining Newton's Nook as a guest designer for their Deck the Halls Blog Hop! I had so much fun creating these snow globe tags, using products from the newest release. Keep reading for all the details and a chance to win one of two prizes!

To begin, I stamped the images from Snowman Greetings, colored with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, and die cut with the Snowman Greetings Die Set.

Next, using the Snowfall Roundabout, I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock with clear embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then cut out the embossed images using a circle die, and ink blended them with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I cut a snowy border and attached it to the bottom of the die cut circle.

I created the snow globe base by simply cutting a piece of wood grain paper 1/2" thick and trimming the edges at an angle. Next, I white heat embossed the sentiment from Snowfall Roundabout onto a red cardstock banner and attached to the snow globe base.

Lastly, I attached the snowman images with foam tape for dimension, punched a hole on the top, and tied on some red and white bakers twine to complete my tags. Such fun and easy tags to really add a special touch to a gift!

Thanks so much for stopping by...keep scrolling for sale info, an awesome giveaway and a list of the blog hop participants...
