Preview Day 1 - Bloom and Grow with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! Today is the first day of previews for the Hello Bluebird May 6th release, available at 7Pm MST. My card features the adorable set, Bloom and Grow and the Summer Woods Scene Die. Paired together, it makes for a sweet garden scene, perfect for any gardening enthusiast!

To create my card, I die cut Bristol cardstock using the new Summer Woods Scene Die and ink blended the sky with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. The grass and tree foliage was blended with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks. I cut the tree trunks from kraft cardstock, inking the edges with a Walnut ink and splattering with some brown paint thinned with water. The background was then assembled onto a white 3 1/2 X 8 1/2" card base.

I stamped the images from Bloom and Grow, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Bloom and Grow Coordinating Dies.

Next, I arranged the colored images to the background, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Typed Everyday with black ink onto a white cardstock strip to complete my card.

Be sure to head over to the Hello Bluebird blog to see more Day 1 previews from the team and comment for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store!

Hope you stop back tomorrow for Day 2 of Previews! Have a great day!

Hugs
