Christmas Cookies with Sunny Studio

Hi friends! I'm back with Sunny Studio sharing this holiday gift idea, featuring the set, Christmas Cookies. This is an exclusive "free set with purchase, so act quickly because it's a cute one!!

I love making handmade gifts for neighbors, teachers and friends for the holidays. This year, I decided to make a fun gift; perfect for bakers or non-bakers, lol! Included is a gingerbread cookie mix and wooden spoon, tucked inside a kitchen mitt. I added some fun striped ribbon and tied on a handmade shaker tag for an adorable and wallet-friendly gift (around $5 each).

To create the shaker tags, I used the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies to cut my tag base from the Holiday Cheer 6X6 Paper. Next, I cut 5 white scalloped circles with the Fancy Frames Circle Dies, and glued 4 together and attached it to my tag. I then cut a circle from acetate and attached it to the backside of the extra white frame I cut. I added some Peppermint Confetti and Neapolitan Sprinkles (yes, I picked out the brown and white sprinkles, lol) before sealing my shaker with double sided tape.

Next, I stamped and colored the images from Christmas Cookies and die cut with the Coordinating Dies.
Copic Colors Used:
Brown: E35, E55, E31, E50
Red: R89, R27, R24, R14
Green: YG17, YG13, YG01

To complete my project, I stamped the sentiment onto a a strip kraft cardstock, attached it to the tags, and added the sweet Ginger people. That's it! Such a fun and easy gift that the recipient will be sure to love!

Thanks so much for stopping by...enjoy your weekend!

Hugs,
Tammy

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends! I'm so excited to be once again participating in Tracey McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! Today, the Pretty Pink Posh team will be sharing some Holiday tag inspiration.

I created these fun snow globe tags, using a couple of dies and the Holiday Signs Stamp Set.

To begin, I stamped the Holiday Signs  and the trees from the Winter Friends Stamp Set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

Next, using the Stitched Duo 3 Dies, I die cut three snow globe bases and ink blended them with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks. Once dry, I used the Snowflakes Stencil and Glitz Glitter Gel to create a nice textured and sparkly background.

Next, I used the Stacked Edges 1 Dies to create the snowy hills. I then cut the snow globe base from red cardstock, using the Simple Strips Dies, and cutting the edges at a slight angle before attaching.

I tucked the trees under the snowy hills, and adhered the other images with foam tape for dimension.

To complete my tags, I punched a hole at the top, added some polka dot satin ribbon, and on tied a little bell with some bakers twine.

North Pole with Sunny Studio

Hi friends! Today, I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing this festive holiday card and coordinating tag set, featuring the adorable set North Pole.

I just love traditional Christmas sets, and this set has it all...from Santa Claus to his adorable working elves!

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

Santa Claus Lane/ Coordinating Dies

To create this slimline card, I first cut a white scalloped border using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. Next, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to fit inside the scallop and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I added some white embossed snowflakes from Gleeful Reindeer, and die cut a snowy border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies. I then attached the panel to a red slimline card base. Next, I attached the images to my card, using foam tape on some for dimension, and white heat embossed the sentiment from North Pole to complete my card.

Next, I created a fun trio of Christmas tags I can't wait to use on the kiddos gifts this year!
First, I cut my tag bases from the Very Merry and Holiday Cheer  6X6 paper, using the Scalloped Tag Square Dies. Next, I cut a background to fit inside the square tags, and ink blended it just as I did the slimline card. The snowy hills were created with the Woodland Borders Die and attached to the background. I then attached a white frame around the background using the Fancy Frames Square Dies, and added the stamped images, using foam tape on some for dimension. To complete my tags, I white heat embossed the sentiments from North Pole and Santa Claus Lane onto black cardstock strips, and added red and white bakers twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by...have a great day!!

Thanksgiving Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi Crafty friends! I'm so excited to be participating in Thanksgiving Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh. This is my favorite time of the year...my daughters and I LOVE cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We get up really early, hit the Starbucks drive-thru for some caffeine, and spend the day hanging out in the kitchen preparing the food...yum yum!!

I had so much fun creating this card and tag set with the super adorable set, Giving Thanks. As a thanks to you, all items in the Thanksgiving section are 15% off during theme week!!

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:

Next, I cut brown patterned paper to 5 X 5" and attached to a square white card base. I then cut a piece of white cardstock to 4.75 X 4.75 and cut out a window using the Window Frames Die. I cut a piece of Bristol cardstock(also 4.75 X 4.75) and ink blended the background with Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks. Once dry, I attached the window over it, and then onto the patterned paper.

I stamped the sentiment from Giving Thanks in black ink, then arranged the stamped images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension.

Next, I created a couple of tags. I'm thinking these would be really cute attached to mini pumpkins on our Thanksgiving table! To begin, I cut white cardstock using the Stitched Essential 1 Dies to create my tag base. The tops of the tag were cut using the same brown patterned paper. I stamped sentiments from
Fall Signs in black ink along the bottom of the tags.

Next, I attached my colored images from Giving Thanks to the tags, using foam tape on the critters for dimension. To complete my tags, I added some orange and white bakers twine. Now I just need to make a few more tags and find mini pumpkins and I'm set, lol!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I am so thankful for all of you and this amazing crafting community! I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Big hugs,
Tammy

25 Days Of Christmas Tags with Lawn Fawn

Hello! I'm so excited to be participating in Tracey McNelley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, with Lawn Fawn as today's sponsor. I had so much fun creating these sweet Gingerbread tags; I'm thinking they would be adorable attached to some hot cocoa for a quick little holiday gift.

To create my tags, I first die cut the mugs from the Let it Shine 6X6 paper using the Outside In Stitched Mug Dies. Next, I added a white die cut snowflake on the front of the mugs from the Shutter Card Snow Globe Add-On. Using Kraft cardstock, I die cut the gingerbread people with the Gingerbread Friends dies, and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.

Next, I die cut the whipped cream using the Stitched Cupcake Dies, the marshmallows (from the Stitched Mug Frame), and the sprinkles (from the I Scream, You Scream Dies). The straws were created by cutting strips from the Let It Shine - Collection Pack. Once the tags were assembled, I added a piece of Peppermint Single Cord and sandwiched it between another die cut whipped cream and stitched mug, cut from white cardstock. This creates a nice finished look to the back of your tag, as well as provides a nice, sturdy tag.

Next, I stamped the sentiments from Sprinkled with Joy (sweet) and Winter Wavy sayings (winter wishes) in clear embossing ink onto Black Licorice cardstock die cut with the Simple Wavy Banners, and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder to complete my tags.

For more tag inspiration from today's sponsor, Lawn Fawn, you can head over to In My Creative Opinion blog to see all the amazing projects and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!
