Sweet as Can Bee with Sunny Studio

Hello friends! Tammy here with a fun project featuring the adorable set, Sweet as Can Bee. I decided to create a cute tea pocket and muslin bag, filled with tea, honey, and a honey dripper. This is such a sweet little gift for a tea lover!

To begin, I stamped the images from Sweet as Can Bee, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Next, I die cut 2 Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies from Bristol cardstock, masked off the edges, and ink blended it using the Pink Fresh Ink Cubes- Napa Valley. I arranged the images onto the inked oval mats, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. I then stamped a white banner, die cut with the Brilliant Banner 3, and attached along the bottom of the ovals using foam tape.

To create the pocket, I simply took a brown paper bag, folded up the bottom, and glued it along the edges to create a pocket. I covered the bag with the Dots and Striped Jewel Tone Patterned Paper, then tied some lavender crinkle ribbon around it before attaching the scalloped oval with foam tape. I then filled my little pocket with tea, honey, and a honey dripper.

I also created a little tea pouch with adorable tag. It is a little muslin bag that I repurposed, filled with tea and honey. It is tied up with a honey dripper and finished with a tag and crinkle ribbon.

That's it! You have a cute little simple and inexpensive gift! You could also tuck in a gift card for a little something extra! I hope you are inspired to make some adorable tea gifts for the tea lover in your life!
Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Hugs,

Tammy

Monkey Business with Sunny Studio

Hello friends, Tammy here! I'm so excited to be back on the Sunny Studio  blog today sharing a card, featuring the adorable set, Monkey Business.

To create my card, I started by stamping the images from Monkey Business, coloring with Copic markers, and die cutting the images with the Monkey Business Dies.
Next, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock A2 sized and ink blended the top 3/4 of the card with Saltwater Taffy and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I then taped off a small area on the bottom of the panel and blended Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks to create a sandy border. I splattered some Vintage Photo ink (thinned with a bit of water) onto the sandy border to create a bit of texture.

Next, I die cut the vines and leaves from Bristol cardstock using the Jungle Vines Dies. I colored the leaves and vines with Copic markers and arranged them onto the inked panel, trimming off the excess.  I then stamped the sentiment using black ink. Next, I created a simple frame simply by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2". Using the second largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Die ,I centered onto my white cardstock panel and ran it through my die cut machine to create a frame. I attached the frame to my card using foam tape for dimension, then arranged the monkeys and stamped images onto my card. Once I was happy with the layout, I attached the images with both a glue runner and foam tape.

Lastly, I attached my card panel to a white A2 card base to finish up my card! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Tammy

Bundle of Joy with Sunny Studio

Hello friends! Tammy here with a couple of fun onesie gift card holders, featuring the Bundle of Joy stamp set.

To begin, I stamped the images from the Bundle of Joy Stamp set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating Bundle of Joy dies.

To create the onesie shape, I started with an A2 rectangle (measuring 4 1/4X 5 1/2") cut from the Flirty Flowers paper. I freehand cut the shape, taking inspiration from the onesie in the Bundle Of Joy set, then used the Stitched Circle Small Dies to cut the neck and leg openings. I then traced it onto heavy white cardstock and cut it out to create the back of the gift card holder.

Next, I cut 2 white Scalloped Circles, then layered a Stitched Small circle, cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended one with pink ink and the other with light blue ink and adhered to the scalloped circles. I attached the scalloped circles onto the onesies using foam tape, then added the stamped images onto the circles. The sentiments were created using the Brilliant Banner 3 Die. I die cut the banners using coordinating cardstock, then stamped the sentiments from the Bundle of Joy set in black ink, and attached to the gift card holders with foam tape. Lastly. I glued the white cardstock to the patterned paper, making sure to only adhere the bottom and sides of the onesie to create a pocket.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to create a fun shaped card using dies, and a cute stamp set, of course!

Hugs,
Tammy

All the Spooks - Halloween Specialty Kit with Hello Bluebird

Hello friends! I'm sharing a fun project using the now sold out Halloween card kit from Hello Bluebird. If you were able to snag this adorable kit, I hope you'll be inspired by today's card.

I started by stamping the images from All the Spooks Stamp Set, coloring with Copic markers, then die cutting with the All the Spooks Companion Die. The 'You are Bootiful' sentiment was stamped using Twisted Citron Distress Ink.
Copic Colors Used:
Ghosts: C5, C3, C1, C00, R22, R20, R00
Pumpkins: Y32, YR18, YR15, YR14, YR12
Broom: E41, E43, Y26, Y23, Y21
Green: YG01, YG03, YG13
Aqua: BG32, BG11, BG000

Once all the ghosts and other images were die cut, I arranged them onto a piece of black patterned paper, cut to 5" square. I added the green sentiment to the center as a focal point, then attached the ghosts, bats, and speech bubbles, using foam tape for lots of dimension. I added some white stars, die cut using the Starry Sky Die and a few green enamel dots to add some fun movement to my card.

Lastly, I added a white mat, cut at 5 1/4", then a 5 1/2" green mat for some fun layers and to tie in the bright green sentiment!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you were inspired to create a fun card using the new Halloween kit, or even some retired HB products!

See you next time.

Lawn Fawn for Simon Says Stamp

Hello friends! I'm thrilled to be on the Simon Says Stamp blog with a project highlighting some new and older Lawn Fawn products! Brunch and a good pun; two of my favorite things! I had so much fun creating this brunch themed all die cut card; perfect for a Valentine, or love themed card!

To begin, I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Knit Picky Winter 6X6 Petite Paper Pack to a
5 1/2" square. I then added a white cardstock  mat, cut to a 5 3/4" square, then attached that to a 6" square cut from Guava cardstock.

Next, I started creating the dies.

Egg: paint splatter from Art Supplies Die Cuts cut from white cardstock
yolk: circle cut from Sunflower cardstock

Bacon: I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, about 2 inches wide and 4 1/2" tall. I then used the                 Stitched Simple Wavy Borders Dies and die cut each side of the cardstock strip to give it a                   wavy shape. I then colored it with Copic sketch markers to make it look like bacon, and                       added a face using the I Scream, You Scream Dies. I just love how sassy she is, lol!

Waffle: I cut a heart from Bristol smooth cardstock using the
Ta-Da Diorama Heart Window Add-On Die. With pencil, I lightly drew a square grid, then                 colored each square with Copic markers to look like the squares on a waffle. I then cut                             skinny strips of Vanilla cardstock, and attached to the waffle covering the pencil lines. To                     create the syrup drip, I cut another heart from Bristol cardstock, then used the wavy die from
I Scream, You Scream Dies to create the wavy edge. I then ink blended it with
Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I cut a small piece of Bristol                       cardstock to an inch square and colored it with Copic markers to make the pat of butter. The                   face was cut from Black Licorice  and Ballet Slippers cardstock using the
             Stitched Happy Heart Dies.

Orange Juice: I used the Build-A-Drink Dies to make the juice. I cut everything from Bristol
cardstock, inking the juice and orange slice with Carved Pumpkin
and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Ink.

Berries: I cut the berries from Bristol using the Strawberry Patch Dies, Stitched Cupcake Dies
and Stitched Circle Frames, then colored the berries with Copic markers.

I added white highlights to all the die cuts then arranged and attached them, using foam tape on some for dimension. Next, I die cut the word 'brunch' from white and Guava cardstock using the Henry's ABC's Dies, layering them slightly offset, then attaching them to my card. I stamped the sentiment from Porcu-pine for You in black ink onto a white cardstock banner die cut using the Portrait Heart Garland Backdrop Die. I trimmed the banner and attached it to the top of my card, above the alpha sentiment. Lastly, I die cut little red hearts from the Pink Textured Canvas cardstock, highlighted with white gel pen. to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to create something fun and unique with some  Lawn Fawn products at Simon Says Stamp!

Tammy

Blog Hop Day 5

Tammy Stark <--you are here

I had so much fun creating a card to celebrate this HUGE milestone for Pretty Pink Posh...a bright stenciled background, topped with 2 cupcakes, and a bunch of candles (10 wouldn't quite fit, lol), just screams Party Time!

To begin, I cut an piece of Bristol smooth cardstock a bit smaller than A2 and stenciled it using the Birthday Words Stencil, with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks. Next, I matted it onto an A2 light pink card base. Next, I die cut 2 cupcakes using the Big Birthday Cupcake Dies. I die cut the cupcakes with papers to coordinate with the fun, bright stenciled background. The bow, sprinkles, and party hat on the white cupcake are all included with the Big Birthday Cupcake Dies.
I assembled the pink cupcake, then added a bunch of candles using the Birthday Candle Dies. I just love the touch of whimsy all those candles add!

For the candles, I die cut a white base, then the stripes were cut from different colored cardstock and attached to the candle base. There are little stitched lines on the candle base, making these sooo easy and fun to assemble! The candle flame was cut from Bristol cardstock and colored with Copic markers for a more realistic look!

Lastly, I embossed the sentiment from the Party Time Stamp Set with white embossing powder on a brown cardstock strip. "Party" was stamped on white cardstock in a chocolate brown ink, then die cut with the Party Time Coordinating Dies to complete my card!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the blog hop!

Hugs!!
Tammy
