Pelican Girl with RAM

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing a card, featuring the sweet digi image, Pelican Girl from Rachelle Anne Miller.

To begin, I printed the image onto Copic friendly paper, then cut it down to a 5 1/4" square. Next, I masked off the image with masking paper, then applied some masking tape about an inch from the bottom and ink blended the sand with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks. I then splattered some Vintage Photo ink, thinned with water, onto the sand with a paintbrush to add some interest. I did the same with white acrylic paint once the brown ink dried. Next, I masked off the next area to create the water and ink blended it with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass D.O. The sky was created with a simple wash of Tumbled Glass, then splattered with Peacock Feathers.

Next, I colored the image with Copic markers.

Copic Colors Used:

Hair: E50, E53, E55, E57
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000
Pink: R85, R83, R81
Violet: BV08, BV02, BV000
Orange: YR07, YR04, Y38, Y35
Grays: C00, C0, C1, C3, C5

Lastly, I added some die cut clouds and a fun die cut sentiment from Hello Bluebird. I attached my finished card front to white cardstock, then a 5 1/2" aqua card base to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! have a wonderful weekend!

Big Hugs,

Sunburst Embossing Folder with Sunny Studio

Hi there! I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing this fun summer inspired card, featuring the Sunburst Embossing Folder. I just love the dimension and texture it adds to a card, and when combined with the Fabulous Flamingos Stamps, it makes for a perfect backdrop for these cuties!

To begin, I embossed a piece of Bristol cardstock using the Sunburst Embossing Folder. I then ink blended it with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks to create a bright, sunshiny background for the flamingos. Next, I die cut white cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, cutting out a window with the Stitched Arch Dies.

I cut a sandy border and ocean wave border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies, ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks, then attached them to the Sunburst inked panel. I then attached the white window frame onto the inked background using foam tape for dimension.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

Tropical Scenes Stamps/ Coordinating Dies

I arranged the stamped images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto a black cardstock strip then attached my card front to an A2 piece of patterned paper from the Summer Splash Paper to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Tammy

Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! Welcome to Day 2 of  the Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop! The new release is now available in the store, and it's full of the sweetest Summer products! Make sure to read to the bottom of my post for info on the giveaway and links to today's blog hop participants!

For my project, I created a trio of cards, using a variety of sets from the new Summer release.

For my first card, I created a fun slimline beach scene using the Summer Fun Stamp Set.

I started by cutting a piece of Bristol cardstock using the largest die from the Slimline: Peekaboo Windows Dies and lightly blending a light blue sky. I then cut a wavy border using the Stitched Waves Dies and ink blended it with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I then layered on a sandy border simply by cutting a strip of cardstock using the Slimline die again and ink blending it with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo D.O.

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

Lastly, I arranged the stamped images onto my card, using foam tape on some for dimension, then attached my card front to a white slimline card base to complete!

Next, I created these fun square cards using a combo of new release items.

To begin I cut Bristol cardstock to 5 1/4" squares. I then used the new Squiggles Stencil to create a fun background for my framed scenes.

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

Next, I cut white scalloped frames using the Scallop Circles Dies. For each card, I cut 3 white scalloped circles and stacked them on top of each other for dimension. I then attached them onto a die cut circle, ink blended with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. Next, I created fun little scenes using a combination of images from the sets listed above.

Lastly, I attached the card fronts to 5 1/2" square white card bases to complete my cards.

Hi friends! It's release day over at Rachelle Anne Miller! Today I'm sharing a mini slimline card, featuring the brand new digi stamp, Birthday Turtle. This sweet turtle image is part of a 4 stamp digi release, available in the store now!

To begin, I printed the image onto Hammermill 100lb. bright white cardstock and trimmed it to a mini slimline size, 3 1/4 X 6 1/4". I masked off the image and inked a pretty pink sky with Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides using the  Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil. I then splattered some watered down Kitsch Flamingo ink onto my panel to add a bit of interest and movement.

Next, I colored the Birthday Turtle image with Copic markers, adding highlights with a white gel pen.

Copic Colors Used:

Green: YG67, YG13, YG03, YG01, YG00, YG000
Brown: E47, E44, E43, E42, E41
Pinks: R85, R83, R81; RV02, RV00, RV000
Yellow: Y18, Y15, Y11, Y000
Orange: YR14, YR12, YR21
Blue: B02, B01, B000, B0000

I created the custom HB2U sentiment using Lawn Fawn's Oliver Alpha. I cut the sentiment twice from white cardstock, stacked on top of each other, and lightly inked the bottom of the letters with the same Distress Oxide inks as my sky to create an ombre look. I cut the sentiment again from black cardstock and layered the white letters on top, just slightly offset. Lastly, I attached my card panel to a white 3 1/2 X 6 1/2" white card base to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to stop by the RAM store to check out the new release and other amazing products! Have a wonderful day!

Cupcake Shaped Die with Sunny Studio

Hello! Today I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog sharing this sweet shaped cheese cupcake card using the Cupcake Shaped Die.

To begin, I cut the cupcake base from 110 lb white cardstock using the Cupcake outline die. Next, I cut the cupcake from Bristol smooth cardstock. I then used the Stitched Circle Large Dies and Stitched Circle Small Dies to cut small circles to resemble cheese. I ink blended it with Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks then layered it onto a die cut yellow cardstock cupcake, using foam tape for dimension. I cut the striped cupcake liner from the Very Merry 6X6 Paper and the candle and sprinkles from the Polka-Dot Parade 6X6 Paper and assembled the cupcake.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:

I arranged the stamped images onto the card, attaching with foam tape to add a bit of dimension, and stamped the sentiment from Harvest Mice Stamps onto a black cardstock sentiment banner. Lastly, I attached the cupcake to a white card base die cut using the partial die cutting technique to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fantastic day!
