Teacher Appreciation with Sunny Studio
Hello! I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog with a fun project, featuring Teacher Appreciation, a versatile sentiment set that can be used not only for teachers, but for so many occasions and people in your life! For my project, I created an A2 card and a fun pencil shaped card.
For the A2 card I started with a white cardstock card base, then layered a green dotted rectangle cut from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6X6 Paper. Next, I added some fun notebook looking paper I found in my stash and stamped it with a sentiment from Teacher Appreciation in black ink, then added a little apple from Harvest Mice . To create the pencil, I cut yellow striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6X6 Paper using the Slimline Pennant Die. I cut 3 more pennants using kraft, guava, and silver cardstock. I created a scalloped edge using the smaller border die from the Slimline Pennant Die, then layered it over the kraft pennant. I used the Fishtail Banner Dies to create the pointed edge of the pencil. I then trimmed down the silver and guava pennants and attached to create the eraser and silver band you would find on a pencil. I added a little piece of charcoal cardstock to the end of the pencil to look like the lead.
I attached the pencil to the card with foam tape for dimension, then white heat embossed the sentiment onto a charcoal cardstock sentiment strip to complete my card.
The shaped card was created exactly as the pencil on the A2 card, but I used the larger pennant from the Slimline Pennant Die to create it. Once the pencil was created, I attached it to a white card base, measuring 2 3/4 X 6 1/2" when folded. I then trimmed the sides along the pencil to create the pointed shape. Next, I stamped the sentiment in black ink from Teacher Appreciation onto some patterned paper and die cut it with the Stitched Circle Dies. I then layered it onto a charcoal Scalloped Circle Mat, added a small apple from Harvest Mice , and adhered to my card with foam tape to complete it!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my projects today! See you next time!
Hugs,
Tammy

Christmas in July with Hello Bluebird
Hi friends! I absolutely LOVE creating for Christmas, so I'm jumping on the Christmas in July bandwagon with a card featuring the North Pole Littles stamp set.
To begin, I cut an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended it with Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide inks, then added some splatters of thinned white acrylic paint to create a snowy effect. Next, I die cut a white frame using the Gallery Frame #2 Die, adding a snowy hill cut using the Hill and Dale Die before attaching to my inked background. I then cut some red striped patterned paper using the Gallery Frame #6 Die to create a fun frame for my card.
I stamped the images from North Pole Littles, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the North Pole Littles Dies.

I splattered the background with some Peacock Feathers, thinned with water, and then white acrylic paint to add some interest. I then die cut white cardstock (three times) using the Gallery Frame #2 Die and stacked on top of each other and attached to the inked background.

RAM July 2021 Release
Hello! Today, I'm sharing a sneak peek of the sweet, soon to be released digi stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller. This adorable image, called Little Pilot, is part of a 4 stamp release arriving on July 8th!
To create my card, I printed the image onto Hammermill 110lb. cardstock, sizing the image to the 4 X 6 option on my printer. Next, I colored the image with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.
Next, I cut an A2 sized rectangle of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. I then splattered some Peacock Feathers, thinned with water, onto the background to add a bit of interest. Next, I die cut a thin, white frame and attached it to the inked background and added some die cut clouds.
Lastly, I added a stamped and die cut sentiment from Hello Bluebird, then attached the Little Pilot image to my card with foam tape for dimension.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hi friends! I'm over on the Sunny Studio blog with this fun, summer themed slimline card, featuring the adorable stamp set, Beach Buddies. These cuties are enjoying a day at the beach, and with the blazing temps here in Vegas, I must say I'm jealous, lol!
Next, I arranged the stamped images onto my card and attached them, using foam tape on some for dimension. I then stamped the sentiment from Beach Buddies in black ink onto my card.
Lastly, I attached the card front to white cardstock, then onto a bright pink 3 1/2 X 8 1/2" card base to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!
