Tool Time with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi crafty friends! I am so excited to be sharing my first post as a Design Team Member for Sunny Studio Stamps!  Today, I have a fun tool box card to share with you that showcases the new Tool Time Stamp Set. My card measures approximately 3 1/2" wide X 5" tall, and fits perfectly into an A2 envelope when folded flat.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Bristol smooth cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.

Copic Colors used:
Yellow: Y35, Y15, Y11
Red: R24, R29, R39
Gray: N0, N2, N4

I then used the coordinating Tool Time Dies to cut out my images.

To create the peg board, I cut a piece of kraft cardstock and inked it with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide. I used a spring loaded hole punch to create the holes for the pegboard, layered on top of black cardstock, then attached to the red backing. The drawers were created by cutting strips of red cardstock, approximately 4 3/4" wide X 1" tall. I then cut a  thin strip of silver foil cardstock, attached to the top of each drawer, and attached to the front of the box using foam tape for dimension.

I started with an A2 stitched rectangle and ink blended it with Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink. I splattered the background with some Worn Lipstick ink thinned with water, and set aside to dry.
Next, I cut some white cardstock, using the Birch Trees Die, and lightly inked the edges with Antique Linen DO. Using the Grassy Knoll Die, I cut a grassy border and some foilage for the trees, and ink blended using a combination of Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles DO.

I stamped my images from Meadow Bunnies, Banner Buddies (birds and flowers), and Party on the Farm (banner) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating Meadow Bunnies Die, Banner Buddies Die, and Party on the Farm Die to cut them out.

Picked For You with Hello Bluebird

Hi Friends! Wow! Looks like everyone loved the new release...it's already sold out!! But, don't worry...it's available to pre-order, as it will be restocked late April! Today, I have a card featuring the darling set, Picked For You and the beautiful Pathway Background stamp.

First, I started by inking an A2 background with Tumbled Glass Distress oxide using a cloud stencil, and then mounted the background onto a white A2 card base. Next, I stamped the Pathway background stamp onto Bristol smooth cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I knew I was going to use the trees from the Picked For You set, so I carefully cut the tree off, using the bottom portion of the background on my card.

Next, I stamped the images from the Picked For You stamp set onto Bristol smooth cardstock, colored with copic markers, and added white highlights with a gel pen. I cut out my colored images with my ScanNCut.
Using the Gallery Frame #2 Die, I die cut the scalloped frame three times from white cardstock, and stacked on top of each other for dimension. I adhered the frame on top of my card, and added the stamped images, using foam tape on some to add some interest and dimension.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment in black ink to finish off my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time!

Tammy

Besties with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! I'm sooo excited...today is release day for Hello Bluebird at 7pm MST. We are previewing another set called Besties. I just adore this set so much!! When I first saw it, it reminded me of classic Pooh Bear and Piglet, so my card is reminiscent of that.

I started with an A2 card base, and cut a rectangle for my background. I stamped the large cloud image onto my background. I ink blended it with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks, masking of the white background to prevent getting ink on it. I splattered some watered down Broken China DO onto the background before removing the mask. Next, I inked some grass with Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage DO.

Next, I stamped the images from Besties, colored with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, and cut the images out with my ScanNCut.
From white cardstock, I cut out a frame three times using the Gallery Frame #1 Die. I glued the three frames together and adhered to my background.
I attached my colored images to my card with foam tape for dimension, and added some blue jewels to finish up my card.

Copic colors:
"Pooh Bear": Y21, Y35, YR24, R22, R24, R39
"Piglet": R30,E00, E000, E0000, R81, R83, R85
Flowers: R81, R83, R000, R81
Leaves: G40, G43

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you guys love this release as much as I do!
Happy Shopping! :)

Easter Tags with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! How's everyone doing? I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!!
Since this Easter will be a bit different, I decided to make some special tags, featuring the darling critters from Hello Bluebird, for my girls. I will attach them to some "carrots" (cone bags filled with Reese's Pieces) for a fun Easter treat!

To begin, I used the Stitched Tag Builder Die , and cut out 3 tags from some plaid patterned paper. Next, I used the rectangle die from the tag set to cut out the opening.
I cut 3 more tags, this time with white smooth Bristol cardstock. I ink blended the tags with Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass. I splattered a bit of water and blotted up. Next, I splattered some thinned out Peacock Feathers onto the tags with a paintbrush and set aside to dry.

Next, I stamped the sweet images from the Spring Gatherings Stamp set and colored with Copic markers. I added highlights to my colored images with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I cut out all images with the coordinating dies.

I cut strips of Bristol cardstock, and die cut little grassy hills using the Hill and Dale Die. I ink blended the grassy hills with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn, and attached to the bottom of each tag.

I layered the patterned tags over my inked tags and attached with foam tape for dimension.
Next, I arranged my colored images onto my tags and again, attached with foam tape.
I then cut white banners, using the Stitched Tag Die, stamped my sentiment with black ink, and adhered onto my tag. To finish my tags, I cut 3 white reinforcers, glued to my tags, and threaded with some green and white bakers twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by...see you soon!
